What the Model Can Spot
A convolutional neural network trained in-house reads leather grain, hardware stamping and stitching. Developed in-house since 2024, it is currently used only to pre-screen images and does not replace a human appraiser: every result we issue is cross-checked by three appraisers.

One Checklist per Category and Brand
Bags, watches, fine jewellery and apparel, with the criteria set out in two tiers — by category, then by brand. Each brand has its own inspection points and pass criteria, which removes variation between appraisers: the same item is held to one standard regardless of who examines it.
