What to read before you bid: how each format settles, and what the appraisers actually look at.
Open bidding
Live bidding with every bid on show. The hammer price is what you pay, and a bid in the last two minutes extends the lot by five.
Sealed bidding
Bids stay anonymous. The highest bidder wins but pays the second-highest bid plus one increment. Two sessions run every day.

Why the trade works with us
Four salesroom auctions a month
Held at the salesroom in Hangzhou, with handbags, watches, jewellery and apparel viewed in person and bid for from the floor. Winning lots drop straight into the cart in the LuxPik app; once paid, they can be collected on the day or packed and shipped.
Authentication first, checked by three people
The group has run its own authentication framework since 2016 and was assessed in 2023 against an industry capability standard for second-hand goods appraisal bodies. Results on physical pieces are issued only after three appraisers have reviewed them.
Storage and handover in one place
Consigned and won lots are held at The LuxPik's storage centre, with collection in person or packing and shipping per order. One deposit covers both the online and the salesroom auctions.
