Frequently asked questions

Every question answered anywhere on this site about The LuxPik Group, the Sheshouduo buy-back and retail business, and the LuxPik trade auctions — grouped into eight topics. Answers match the service, category and rules pages; anything more specific to your piece is quicker by phone.

Brand

The group and its brands

What kind of company is The LuxPik Group?

The LuxPik (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. was incorporated on 1 September 2014 and is headquartered in Hangzhou. It is an integrated platform for the buy-back, authentication, retail and auction of pre-owned luxury, operating two brands.

How are Sheshouduo and The LuxPik related?

Both are brands of The LuxPik Group. Sheshouduo serves private clients, buying back and retailing pre-owned luxury across handbags, watches, fine jewellery, apparel and footwear, and diamonds and gold. The LuxPik serves the trade, running auctions and appraisals for dealers. If you are selling or buying a piece of your own, that is Sheshouduo; if you are a dealer, that is The LuxPik.

What credentials does the group hold?

The group was named in 2025 among the first cohort of second-hand goods circulation pilot enterprises, designated by the Ministry of Commerce and three other ministries jointly. It holds a trade body recognition as a second-hand retail front runner, awarded in 2024 and assessed against enterprise standard Q/ZGYP001-2023, and membership of a national recycling association. Scans of every certificate are published item by item on the compliance page.

Are there boutiques I can walk into?

Yes. The group operates a boutique network of 100+ stores across 30+ cities, so a piece can be examined and priced in front of you. Opening hours vary by boutique — call 400-831-5667 to confirm and book before visiting. Addresses and directions for the boutiques open to appointments are on the boutique pages.

Service

Selling to us: buy-back and consignment

Which brand should I be talking to?

Private clients buying or selling go to Sheshouduo, which offers competitive buy-back, consignment to auction, and curated retail. Dealers go to The LuxPik, for open and sealed bidding online and the live trade sales. On authentication, private sellers are examined free of charge; volume work for the trade is agreed under a commercial arrangement.

What are the steps in a buy-back?

Six. One, tell an advisor the category and condition, online or by phone. Two, the advisor gives an indicative range based on house, model and condition, at no charge. Three, book an inspection — in-store, at your address, or by post. Four, an appraiser verifies authenticity and condition, photographs the piece and lists it. Five, trade buyers bid against each other and every offer is visible to you. Six, you choose the offer you want and payment is released on acceptance.

Can you collect, rather than me coming in?

Yes. There are three ways to sell: in-store, collection at your address, or by post. For higher-value pieces you can book an appraiser to come to you and complete the inspection in person.

How does selling by post work, and how long does it take?

Send the piece carriage-forward; the inspection result and the offer are issued within 24 hours of it arriving. The other two routes: in-store, where a boutique near you examines and prices the piece in front of you, and at your address, which we suggest for higher-value pieces, with the whole inspection and offer done in person.

How is competitive buy-back different from an outright offer?

With competitive bidding, several trade buyers bid against each other, so the price is formed by a market and every offer is visible to you. An outright offer is normally one figure from one shop, with limited room to negotiate.

Can I decline every offer?

Yes. The offers are indicative and the decision is entirely yours. There is no charge if you decline, and the piece is returned exactly as received.

Consignment or buy-back — which is better?

If you need the money now, buy-back: payment is released as soon as you accept. If you want the higher figure and can wait, consignment: the final price is usually better, but you have to wait for the sale. An advisor will compare both for your specific piece.

Where is my piece during the consignment period?

In The LuxPik storage facility, photographed on intake. It is not lent out or tried on during the consignment period.

What if it does not sell?

Anything unsold at the end of the term comes back to you exactly as received. You can also lower the reserve within the agreed terms and keep it in sale, or switch to competitive buy-back.

Pricing

Price and valuation

What percentage of retail does pre-owned luxury fetch?

There is no fixed percentage. The figure comes from five things — house, model, condition, completeness and the market at the time — and two examples of the same model can differ several times over on condition alone. Sheshouduo's online valuation is free, and with competitive bidding the price is formed by trade buyers bidding in real time.

How is the valuation actually built up?

House, model, condition, accessories and market, each assessed as a separate line. The appraiser records and photographs each one during inspection, so the offer shows what every deduction is based on.

Does the online valuation cost anything?

No. Speak to an advisor and you will get an indicative range at no charge. It is a guide only — the binding figure is the offer issued after the appraiser has examined the piece.

What is chargeable?

The online valuation is free and there is nothing to pay if you decide not to sell. Authentication is free for private sellers. None of the three routes — in-store, at your address, by post — carries a fee, and postage is carriage-forward. On the LuxPik app, bidding is free for buyers and the platform adds no buyer's premium; how sellers list and settle is set by their commercial arrangement.

How long does the trade bidding take?

Common categories usually produce a result within 10 minutes. Rarer pieces can take longer while more buyers come in. The offers are a guide only — whether to accept is entirely yours.

How soon do I get paid?

With competitive buy-back, payment is released as soon as you accept an offer. With consignment, settlement follows the auction sale on the agreed terms.

How are gold and diamonds priced?

The gold content is calculated from the bullion price on the day of sale against the measured net weight, re-weighed and confirmed with you in person. Diamonds are graded on carat, colour, clarity and cut. A stone with a certificate from a recognised laboratory moves faster and usually fetches more, and a signed piece usually sits above an unsigned mount of the same specification, with an allowance made for wear to the setting.

Category

Categories and what they fetch

Which categories does the group cover?

Five: handbags, watches, fine jewellery, apparel and footwear, and diamonds and gold. Buy-back, retail and auction all sit within these.

What do you buy?

The major houses across five categories: handbags, watches, fine jewellery, apparel and footwear, and diamonds and gold. The houses we see most often are listed on each category page.

Which brands do you buy?

The major houses across all five categories — handbags, watches, fine jewellery, apparel and footwear, diamonds and gold. The houses we see most often are listed on each category page, and anything not listed can still be valued.

My house is not listed on the category page — can it still be valued?

Yes. The names on each category page are the ones we see most often. Anything else is valued free of charge just the same, with the binding figure issued after the appraiser has examined the piece.

What is a Hermès Birkin worth?

It depends on leather, size, hardware, year and the market at the time — two of the same reference can be worth very different amounts, so there is no single figure. With competitive bidding, trade buyers bid in real time and every offer is visible to you, so you see the actual market price rather than an estimate.

Is a well-worn Chanel flap still worth anything?

Yes, we still buy it; the figure depends on the market at the time. If you are not in a hurry, consignment is worth considering — selling through auction usually achieves a higher final price.

Will you take a bag with visible wear?

Yes. Wear affects the figure, not whether we buy. The appraiser records hardware, corners and lining separately and the offer states what each deduction is based on.

How is a Rolex buy-back price calculated?

We authenticate first, then assess condition, completeness of box and papers, year and the current market, each as a separate line. With competitive bidding, trade buyers bid in real time and every offer is visible to you, so you see the actual market price.

Will you buy a watch without its papers?

Yes. If the appraiser confirms it is genuine, we buy it. Missing papers affect the figure, not eligibility.

My watch has stopped — is it still sellable?

Yes. Most stopped watches simply need a service or a battery. The appraiser checks the movement and factors the servicing cost into the offer.

Does Van Cleef & Arpels Alhambra hold its value?

Alhambra is a long-running collection that trades readily, and it holds value comparatively well for jewellery in its price band. The actual figure still depends on metal, condition, certification and the market at the time.

Do I need a certificate to sell jewellery?

No — we buy uncertified pieces. That said, a house certificate or laboratory report usually earns a higher figure, because it removes verification work for the buyer.

Will you take a piece with a missing stone or distortion?

Yes. The appraiser estimates the repair cost and factors it into the offer. The precious metal is still converted at the day's spot price by actual weight.

What is second-hand clothing worth?

The appraiser weighs house, cut, size, completeness and the state of the tags and care labels, so the range is wide and there is no single figure. With competitive bidding, trade buyers bid in real time and you see the actual market price.

What will a Moncler down jacket fetch?

It depends on the line, size, condition and completeness. The appraiser checks the fill, the logo badge, the care label and the zip hardware individually before issuing an offer.

Will you buy shoes that have been worn?

Yes. Sole wear and creasing at the toe are part of the condition assessment. The original box and spare laces lift the figure.

What will a one-carat diamond ring fetch?

At the same carat weight, differences in colour, clarity, cut and certification can change the figure several times over, so it has to be tested before a firm offer can be made.

Can I sell a diamond with no report?

Yes. The appraiser grades the 4Cs on the spot, explains the result, and prices against it.

Retail

Buying from us

Is buying pre-owned from Sheshouduo safe?

Sheshouduo is a brand of The LuxPik Group, which has run its own luxury authentication framework since 2016, was listed as a second-hand retail front runner in 2024, and was named in 2025 among the first cohort of second-hand goods circulation pilot enterprises designated by the Ministry of Commerce and three other ministries jointly. Every piece is checked by an appraiser before listing, condition is recorded line by line, and we go through that record with you before dispatch.

How do I know it is genuine?

Two safeguards. Every piece is checked against our authentication framework before listing, and we support re-examination by an independent laboratory — if that examination finds an authenticity problem, we stand behind it.

Can something I bought be returned or exchanged?

Two cases. Most pieces from Sheshouduo curated retail carry a 24-hour inspection window: condition video and detail shots are confirmed by both sides and recorded before dispatch, and if what arrives does not match them you can return or exchange within 24 hours of delivery. Sourced, consigned and unworn pieces are excluded, and the advisor confirms this on each order before you commit. Lots won in a sealed sale on the LuxPik app can be returned within 24 hours if a fault does not match the description.

What should I watch for when buying pre-owned?

Whether the written condition matches the photographs line by line, whether the accessories are complete, and whether independent re-examination and an inspection window are on offer. Those three decide whether you have any recourse after the fact.

Auction

Trade auctions

What is the LuxPik app?

An online auction platform for dealers in pre-owned luxury. It went live in 2025, runs open bidding (price visible throughout) and sealed bidding (anonymous sessions), and lists handbags, jewellery, watches and apparel daily.

Can private individuals take part?

The LuxPik app is for dealers in pre-owned luxury. Private sellers and buyers are served by Sheshouduo, the group's consumer brand.

How does a dealer join?

Complete identity and shop verification inside the LuxPik app. The documents and steps required are set out in the app's shop verification rules, and the trade desk can help you through it.

Where can dealers take part in the auctions?

Two channels. Online is the LuxPik app, with open and sealed bidding — two sealed sessions a day, and new handbags, jewellery, watches and apparel every day. Offline is the live trade sale, held four times a month at the Hangzhou salesroom, where lots are viewed in the room and bid on from the floor, then collected or shipped. Both require identity verification in the app and a deposit balance of at least CNY 500. One deposit covers online and live sales alike and can be withdrawn in the app at any time.

What is the difference between open and sealed bidding?

Open bidding shows the price throughout, opens and closes lot by lot, settles at the highest bid, and extends a lot by five minutes if a bid lands in the last two. Sealed bidding is anonymous and runs in scheduled sessions twice a day, settling at the second-highest bid plus one minimum increment.

How is a sealed-bid price calculated?

With a second-highest bid, the price is that bid plus one minimum increment; with only one bid, it is the reserve plus one increment. The reserve is the seller's lowest acceptable price, and the increment is set by the platform according to the reserve band.

Does bidding cost anything?

Bidding is free for buyers and the platform charges buyers nothing further. Terms for sellers listing and settling are set out in the trading arrangement.

What happens if I win and do not pay?

In sealed bidding, a winning bidder has four hours to place and pay for the order; after that the system closes the order and the deposit is forfeited. In open bidding a winning bid cannot be withdrawn.

How do I attend a live auction?

Complete identity verification in the LuxPik app, lodge a deposit of at least CNY 500, then register through the live auction section of the app — this is the quicker route, as check-in on the day is immediate. You can also come to the Hangzhou salesroom and register at the door with a member of staff.

Can I get the deposit back?

Yes. One deposit covers both online and live sales, and once a sale is over you can request it back in the app if you have nothing further you want to bid on.

How do I collect what I have bought?

Lots recorded to you go into your cart in the app. Once paid, you can collect in the room, or we will pack and ship from the warehouse against the order.

Authentication

Authentication and the record

Is online authentication reliable?

Online authentication is limited by the quality and angle of the photographs, and some details of workmanship simply cannot be read from an image. We recommend physical examination wherever possible, particularly for watches and stone-set jewellery.

What methods are used?

A physical examination is carried out by the senior appraisal team using precision instruments and forensic method — the house's own typeface, letterforms, spacing and proportion, metal content, smell and hand are all compared — and the result is issued after a cross-check by three appraisers. Online, a dedicated appraiser reviews first and the chief appraiser confirms. Online work is limited by the quality and angle of the photographs, so watches and set jewellery are better examined physically.

Do private sellers pay for authentication?

No. The LuxPik authenticates free of charge for private sellers. Volume work for dealers is agreed separately under a commercial arrangement.

Who issues the result?

For physical examination, our appraisers examine the piece and three of them cross-check before the result is issued. Online, an assigned appraiser reviews first and a senior appraiser confirms.

Is the inspection recorded?

Yes. The appraiser records house, model, condition, accessories and market against each item and photographs as they go, so the written offer shows what each line of the figure rests on. The group has run its own authentication standard since 2016, which puts authenticity judgements and condition grading into an executable form — the same piece is described comparably from one boutique to the next.

Support

What backs the transaction

What protects me in a transaction?

On a buy-back, every offer is visible to you in writing with the reasoning behind each line, and payment is released the moment you accept. In retail, a piece is only listed after it has been through our authentication, and you may send it to a recognised third-party laboratory for a second opinion — if that opinion finds an authenticity problem, Sheshouduo stands behind it. At auction, lots recorded to you can be collected in the room or packed and shipped from the warehouse against the order.

Can I trust Sheshouduo with my piece?

Sheshouduo is a brand of The LuxPik Group, founded in 2014 and operating a boutique network across 30+ cities. Every offer on your piece is visible to you in writing, and payment is released the moment you accept one.

Is there a fee if I do not sell? What happens to the piece?

No fee. The offers are a guide, the decision is entirely yours, nothing is charged if you decline, and the piece goes back to you as it came.

How do I raise a complaint?

If you disagree with a buy-back offer, an authentication result, an auction settlement or the service at a boutique, contact us on 400-831-5667 or at zgyp@sheshouduo.com. We undertake to respond within two working days and to confirm the outcome in writing once the matter is resolved.

Cases · Bags

Case Studies · Handbags

What is a second-generation Hermès Kelly worth?

That is the market’s name for the Kelly 20. In August 2026 this Grade S cream white one in Shanghai — leather strap, dust bag, box and receipt all present, accessories at the top of the scale — came in at CNY 167,000.View this case →

Where does the Kelly 20 gain over the Kelly 25?

In the same condition with the same accessories, the 20cm size usually prices above the 25 and the 28. The gap comes mostly from supply: it is the smallest size, hard to get at retail and made in small numbers, so little reaches the secondary market — and plenty of buyers want the compact shape.View this case →

Where can I sell an Hermès bag in Shanghai?

There are 18 boutiques across Shanghai, clustered in a handful of retail districts. The full list is on the Shanghai boutiques page. Call 400-831-5667 to book; an appraiser will check the bag in person and quote on the spot.View this case →

On a six-figure bag, how do I know the offer is fair?

Look at who formed it. Here the bag was checked, then listed on the bidding platform, and trade buyers across the country bid in the same window. Ms He chose from the offer sheet herself. Every buyer’s number can be shown, so whichever she took, the reasoning behind it was visible.View this case →

How is the buy-back price for an Hermès Kelly 25 set?

Leather, colour, condition and accessories are worked out separately, then demand at the time is laid over the top. There is no single price. In August 2026 this Grade NS Togo one in Shanghai, with a complete set of accessories, landed at CNY 125,000.View this case →

Does a bag close to new still lose value at buy-back?

It will be quoted above the same model in poorer condition, but usually not at what you paid. Once a bag leaves the store and enters pre-owned circulation, it is priced against the secondary market. This one was Grade NS with almost no marks on the leather and nothing missing from the accessories, and both show up as line items on the offer sheet. A single step in condition usually opens a real gap between two of the same reference; this one landed near the top of the band.View this case →

Where can I sell an Hermès Kelly in Shanghai?

There are 18 Sheshouduo boutiques across Shanghai — book whichever is nearest. The check and the quote are done in one visit. Call 400-831-5667 before you set out to confirm opening hours; addresses are on the Shanghai boutiques page.View this case →

Can I get the money the same day?

Payment goes out the day you sign, and it did on this one. If you ship instead, send it freight-collect and you will have the inspection result and the offer within 24 hours of the parcel being signed for.View this case →

What is an Hermès Birkin worth at buy-back?

Size, colour, leather and condition are read together. In August 2026 this Grade S black Togo one in Shenzhen sold for CNY 92,000.View this case →

Does missing the box and receipt matter much?

It takes something off, but it weighs less than condition and colour. Box and papers are credits; without them the offer comes down from the top of the band. On this one the condition was close to new and the colour was black, so the number still held.View this case →

Where can I sell an Hermès bag in Shenzhen?

There are three boutiques in Shenzhen. Call 400-831-5667 with the model and a time. An appraiser checks the bag in front of you and quotes on the spot, at no charge. Directions are on the Shenzhen boutiques page.View this case →

How soon is the money paid after a sale?

In the boutique, as soon as you accept the offer. If you ship it, you get the result the day after it arrives, and nothing is charged if you walk away.View this case →

How is the buy-back price for a Birkin 30 worked out?

Colour, condition, leather and accessories all move the number, and two of the same size can be some way apart. There is no fixed price to copy across. In August 2026 this Grade B gold-brown one in Hangzhou sold for CNY 72,000.View this case →

Which holds value better, gold-brown or black?

Both are among the three neutrals, both are about as easy to move on, and both lose less than a seasonal colour. The actual offer still depends on leather and accessories, so colour alone does not settle it.View this case →

Which boutiques in Hangzhou buy Hermès bags?

The addresses of all five are on the Hangzhou boutiques page. Call 400-831-5667 to book and an advisor will put you at whichever is most convenient. The check starts when you arrive — you do not have to leave the bag and wait for a result.View this case →

On an expensive bag, how do I avoid being marked down by one party?

Look at whether the offer is formed by more than one bidder. Here the bag was checked, then put on the bidding platform, and buyers in several cities bid at the same time. The client chose from the list herself, so no single party held the pricing.View this case →

What is an Hermès Lindy 26 worth at buy-back?

The offer turns on the house, the model, the condition, the accessories and the market at the time, and within one reference on size, leather and colour. Demand concentrates more on the 26 than the 30, so it usually quotes higher. The Grade S étain one sold in Hangzhou in August 2026 settled at CNY 38,000.View this case →

Why does the Lindy 26 quote above the 30?

Secondary demand concentrates on the smaller and mid sizes. The 26 is lighter and more often used for commuting, so more buyers take it on; the 30 holds more but weighs more, and its audience is narrower. At comparable condition and colour, the 26 usually quotes above the 30.View this case →

Where can I sell an Hermès bag in Hangzhou?

There are 5 Sheshouduo boutiques in Hangzhou. Book whichever is nearest and the check and the quote are done in person. Call 400-831-5667 beforehand to confirm opening hours. Addresses are on the Hangzhou boutiques page.View this case →

Do missing original accessories noticeably affect the offer?

They matter, but they are not decisive. Every original accessory on this bag was lost and the offer still landed in the upper part of the band for the reference — Grade S condition, concentrated demand at 26, and an easily traded étain all outweighed the accessories.View this case →

How is the figure for an Hermès Garden Party 25 worked out?

Not by discounting what you paid. Condition, accessories and model are each checked, then the market at the time calibrates the result. Every item in the inspection is recorded, so each line on the offer sheet can be traced back and asked about. This Nanjing sale in August 2026 came in at CNY 35,000.View this case →

How big is a Garden Party 25?

The 25 is the Mini of the line, roughly 25×15cm, the smallest size there is. It is built for everyday carrying — a long wallet, a phone and a cosmetics pouch all fit; a laptop does not.View this case →

Are there boutiques in Nanjing that buy Hermès?

Three, in different retail districts. Call 400-831-5667 with the model to book. The bag is checked in front of you and quoted in person, with nothing to pay upfront. Where they are clustered is on the Nanjing boutiques page.View this case →

If I ship it, how long until I hear back?

You get the inspection result and the offer within a day of the parcel being signed for. Shipping is freight-collect and we cover it. If it sells, you are paid; if it does not, the piece comes back as it was and nothing is charged.View this case →

What is a black Chanel Coco Handle worth at buy-back?

Black draws more secondary demand than a seasonal colour, so the offer usually sits higher. This Grade A black lambskin one in Hangzhou, August 2026, came in at CNY 26,000.View this case →

How much does missing the box and receipt take off?

Some, but there is no fixed proportion — it depends on how active circulation is at the time. The same model with a complete set of accessories quotes higher.View this case →

How do I book a Chanel buy-back appointment in Hangzhou?

Call 400-831-5667 with the model and a time that suits you, and we will arrange the nearest boutique and the appraiser on duty. Addresses for all five Hangzhou boutiques are on the Hangzhou boutiques page.View this case →

How quickly does the money arrive?

Accept the offer in the boutique and you are paid on the spot. Shipped items get a result within 24 hours of being signed for, and nothing is charged if you walk away.View this case →

What is an Hermès Picotin worth at buy-back?

The Picotin Lock has to be worked out across size, condition, colour and accessories, and the 18 and the 22 cannot be read off each other. This Grade S black calf 18 in Beijing, August 2026, came in at CNY 26,000.View this case →

Does a bag close to new quote noticeably higher?

Yes. Condition is its own variable in the pricing. Grade S means almost no wear to the leather or hardware, and the offer lands in the upper part of the band for that reference. On this bag’s offer sheet, the reasoning behind the condition grade can be traced and checked line by line.View this case →

Where can I sell an Hermès bag in Beijing?

All ten Beijing boutiques handle Hermès. Call 400-831-5667 with the reference first and book a time. The check and the quote are done in one visit — no second trip, finished the same day. Addresses are on the Beijing boutiques page.View this case →

Do I need to book before coming in?

It is worth booking. Opening hours vary slightly between boutiques. Call 400-831-5667 to fix a time and an appraiser will keep the slot free, so you go straight into the check without waiting.View this case →

What is a Chanel Duma backpack worth at buy-back?

This one came in at CNY 25,000. The band for the model is wide, and condition and accessories carry the most weight — Grade A with no accessories usually sits below the same model in better condition with a complete set.View this case →

How do I avoid being marked down on a Chanel buy-back?

Start with how the offer is produced. Once the bag is on the platform, trade buyers across the country bid side by side and the offer sheet is fully visible. Whether to sell is the client’s decision, and the price does not rest with any one party. Nothing is charged if you walk away and the piece comes back as it was, so there is no worry about it being held.View this case →

Where do I sell a Chanel bag in Hangzhou?

There are five Sheshouduo boutiques in Hangzhou. Hours differ between them, so call 400-831-5667 to fix a time before setting out. The check and the quote are both done in the boutique. Locations are on the Hangzhou boutiques page.View this case →

How soon after arriving am I paid?

Payment goes out as soon as you sign, and it did the same day on this one. Shipping runs to the same rhythm: a result within 24 hours of being signed for, payment once the sale is confirmed, and nothing charged if it is not.View this case →

What does an unused Hermès Picotin 18 fetch?

Unused usually lands in the upper middle of the band, but colour and how much is in circulation still move it, and a complete set of accessories helps. This Grade N Blue Jean one in Hangzhou, August 2026, sold for CNY 21,500.View this case →

How far apart are seasonal and neutral colours on price?

There is no fixed proportion; the gap is usually in the low tens of percent. Neutrals have a wider pool of buyers and seasonal colours a limited one. Good condition narrows the gap but does not close it.View this case →

Where in Hangzhou can I sell an unused bag?

All five Hangzhou boutiques take bags in unused condition, with the grade decided by an appraiser in person. Call 400-831-5667 to fix a time; addresses are on the Hangzhou boutiques page.View this case →

What should I bring to an in-store check?

The bag itself and whatever accessories you still have. Keys, the lock and the receipt are all worth bringing along.View this case →

What is a Chanel 22 Mini worth at buy-back?

Size, colour, condition and accessories all have to be read. The Mini holds value best in the 22 line, and the bands for the larger and smaller sizes do not carry across. This Grade A pink one in Wuxi, August 2026, was quoted at CNY 19,000.View this case →

Is a pink bag easy to sell on the secondary market?

Pink is a seasonal colour, so the pool of buyers is narrower than for a neutral like black or beige — but that is not the same as unsellable. Demand for it concentrates in particular stretches, and condition and how much is in circulation at the time still matter most. Meet a buyer who is looking for exactly that colour and the offer holds up.View this case →

Where in Wuxi are Chanel bags bought?

The Sheshouduo boutique in Wuxi handles Chanel across the range. Location and opening hours are on the boutique directory page. Call 400-831-5667 to book first; the bag is checked and quoted in person. Small leather goods follow the same route as handbags — there is no separate channel.View this case →

Can I just turn up without booking?

Better to book. Opening hours differ between boutiques. Confirm on 400-831-5667 and an appraiser will hold a slot, so you go straight into the check without waiting. Bringing whatever accessories you have makes it simpler still.View this case →

What did this 22 Mini in Zhengzhou finally sell for?

Size, colour, condition and accessories are each checked before the number is set. This Grade A black one in Zhengzhou, August 2026, sold for CNY 19,000.View this case →

Does keeping a full set of accessories raise the offer?

The original chain and the receipt are credits; the box adds relatively little. A complete set puts the offer in the upper part of the band, but it has no bearing on whether we can take the bag.View this case →

How many boutiques in Zhengzhou buy Chanel bags?

The Sheshouduo boutique in Zhengzhou handles Chanel bags including the 22 line. Call 400-831-5667 to fix a time. Locations nationwide are on the boutique directory page.View this case →

When does the money arrive?

Accept the offer in the boutique and you are paid on the spot. Shipped items get the result and the offer the next day; if you walk away, nothing is charged and the piece comes back as it was.View this case →

What is a small Hermès "pig nose" worth at buy-back?

"Pig nose" is the trade’s name for the Roulis, and the small one is the 18cm. This Grade A black one in Shanghai, August 2026 — no obvious scratching, hardware lustre intact, the clasp closing smoothly — came in at CNY 17,500.View this case →

How do I tell a Roulis 18 from a 23?

By size and capacity. The 18 is smaller and lighter and suits cross-body wear; the 23 is larger and works better on the shoulder. They are different models and are valued separately — you cannot apply one size’s result to the other, and the bands do not carry across.View this case →

How many boutiques in Shanghai take the Kelly and the Roulis?

All 18 handle both lines. The Roulis is a regular and the Kelly a high-frequency category, but the process is the same: bring the bag and whatever accessories you still have. Book on 400-831-5667; addresses are on the Shanghai boutiques page.View this case →

Can a bag with no original accessories still be sold normally?

Yes. Accessories affect how high the offer is, not whether we can take it. This one had neither box nor receipt; the deduction was recorded honestly in the valuation, the price still came from trade bidding, and every line of the deduction is visible on the offer sheet.View this case →

How is a Chanel Coco Handle valued at buy-back?

Model, condition, accessories and the market are assessed as separate items; the house only sets the broad tier. Colour is its own line — two of the same line in different colours can be more than ten percentage points apart. This Grade A silver lambskin one in Guangzhou, August 2026, was quoted at CNY 15,500.View this case →

Within one line, why does black quote above silver?

Secondary demand is tiered by colour. An easy colour like black has more takers, while silver and metallics are seasonal expressions with a relatively narrow audience. That difference goes straight into the offer; it is not a difference in condition.View this case →

Where in Guangzhou can I have a Chanel bag checked in person?

All three boutiques will look at the piece in person. Book on 400-831-5667 and an appraiser is put on duty, with the offer given on the spot. Directions and locations are on the Guangzhou boutiques page.View this case →

Can a bag with no receipt or box still be sold?

Yes. How complete the accessories are affects only how high the offer is, not whether we can take it. This one came in with no accessories at all, and that was already counted into the valuation.View this case →

How is a Lindy priced at buy-back?

Size, leather, colour, condition and accessories all go into the sum, and there is no single figure to apply. This Grade A purple-red 30 in Beijing, August 2026, sold for CNY 15,500.View this case →

Is a bag in an unpopular colour marked down?

Colour affects the offer, but that is the market sorting itself into tiers, not a deliberate mark-down. Neutrals like black and gold-brown have more takers; seasonal colours have a relatively narrow audience. The offer sheet sets out the reasoning for colour as its own line, so you can see how it was worked.View this case →

How many boutiques in Beijing buy Hermès?

Ten. Pick whichever is nearest and bring the bag along with whatever accessories you still have for an appraiser to go through in person. Book on 400-831-5667; locations are on the Beijing boutiques page.View this case →

Does a bag without accessories take longer to process?

No. Accessories bear on how high the offer is, not on how long the process runs. This one had none, and it still went from inspection to bidding within the same window, at the same pace as a bag with a full set.View this case →

What is an Hermès "pig nose" worth at buy-back?

Size, condition, colour and accessories all have to be checked, and the bands for the 18 and the 23 do not carry across. This Grade C Roulis 23 in Shenzhen, August 2026, sold for CNY 15,000.View this case →

What is the difference between a Roulis 23 and an 18?

Mainly size and capacity. The 18 is the mini, lighter and mostly worn cross-body; the 23 is a little larger, suits both the shoulder and cross-body, and takes more for a commute. They are different models and are valued separately — neither can be read off the other, and the two bands differ.View this case →

How many boutiques in Shenzhen buy Hermès bags?

Three. The addresses are collected on the Shenzhen boutiques page; book whichever is closest. The number is 400-831-5667. The check and the quote are finished in the same visit, with no need to come twice.View this case →

Can a bag in ordinary condition still be sold?

Yes. Condition bears on how high the offer is, not on whether we can take it. The corner wear on this Grade C bag was recorded item by item by the appraiser, and it still went onto the bidding platform, with the final price set by trade bidding. What the client sees is a complete breakdown where every line can be matched up.View this case →

What is an Hermès Picotin 18 worth at buy-back?

Condition, leather, colour and accessories all count, and two of the same size can be far apart. This Grade B Barénia Faubourg one in Shanghai, August 2026, sold for CNY 13,800.View this case →

Does Barénia Faubourg fetch more than an ordinary leather?

Leather type is one of the reference items. Barénia Faubourg is made in limited quantity and has steady demand among collectors, but the final figure is still led by condition, colour and how much is in circulation.View this case →

How do I find a boutique in Shanghai that buys Hermès?

The addresses of all 18 Shanghai boutiques are collected on the Shanghai boutiques page. Call 400-831-5667 to book the nearest. The check and the quote run straight on from one another.View this case →

Does a complete set of accessories raise the offer?

It pushes it up a tier. Lock, keys and box are credits, counted line by line. Missing items affect the number only, not whether the piece is accepted.View this case →

What is an Hermès Evelyne worth at buy-back?

Size band, condition, colour and accessories each carry weight, and the TPM, PM and GM do not read across — change the size and it is a different market. This Grade S TPM in black, Shenzhen, August 2026, sold for CNY 12,500.View this case →

How big is an Evelyne mini?

The mini is the TPM, about 16cm wide, the smallest in the line. It is built for everyday cross-body wear, holds small personal items, and is almost weightless to carry. A long wallet and a phone fit; an A4 document does not.View this case →

Where in Shenzhen can I sell an Evelyne?

All three boutiques take it. The Evelyne is a regular, so no special appointment is needed. Call 400-831-5667 to fix a time and the check and the quote start when you arrive — from walking in to being quoted inside the same visit. Locations are on the Shenzhen boutiques page.View this case →

What should I watch for when shipping?

Send it freight-collect; the inspection result and the offer follow the day after the courier signs it in, and nothing is charged at any stage. Sending original accessories such as the leather strap along makes the check easier. If you walk away, nothing is charged and the piece comes back — pad the body with a soft cloth before you send it.View this case →

What is a large Chanel 19 worth at buy-back?

There is no single figure — size, condition, colour and how complete the accessories are all go into it. This white lambskin large one in Shanghai, August 2026, Grade B with no original accessories at all, was quoted at CNY 11,500.View this case →

Will I be marked down without the original accessories?

Something comes off, and how much depends on the model and how circulation is running at the time; there is no fixed proportion to apply. This one was missing box, dust bag and receipt, and that shows up honestly in the offer, with the reasoning set out item by item on the sheet.View this case →

Where in Shanghai are Chanel bags bought?

All 18 boutiques in the city take them. There are only two moves once you arrive: the appraiser checks the bag and the advisor gives you the bidding result. Nothing is payable upfront. Call 400-831-5667 first to confirm a time; the address list is on the Shanghai boutiques page.View this case →

How soon after accepting an offer am I paid?

On the spot. If you ship, send it freight-collect and we return the result and the offer within a day of signing for it. Pack the bag in its original box or a rigid one so it does not get crushed in transit, with a soft cloth inside for good measure.View this case →

How is the market for a Chanel Gabrielle at buy-back?

The Gabrielle is long past its launch peak, and what matters now is mostly condition and colour. This Grade B black calf Hobo in the small size, Guangzhou, August 2026, came in at CNY 7,000, with those two carrying about equal weight.View this case →

Quotes for the same bag vary a lot between channels — how do I tell which is real?

Start with whether the offer can be matched item by item to the house, the model, the condition, the accessories and the market. One that gives only a rough number and cannot show its reasoning usually is not a figure you can actually close at. The offer sheet for this bag set out the reasoning line by line.View this case →

Where are the boutiques in Guangzhou that buy Chanel bags?

There are three Sheshouduo boutiques in Guangzhou, with locations collected on the Guangzhou boutiques page. Call 400-831-5667 before you set out to check which is staffed and what time suits, and the check begins when you arrive.View this case →

How long does a handbag buy-back take?

Hours, not days. For a regular model, trade offers start coming in within ten minutes of it reaching the platform; a less sought-after one takes a little longer. Accept the offer in the boutique and you are paid.View this case →

What is an Hermès Jige clutch worth at buy-back?

Leather, condition, colour and accessories set the landing point, and structurally clutches and handbags do not share a market. This Grade S Jige in Beijing, August 2026, sold for CNY 6,579.View this case →

Are clutches harder to sell than handbags?

The audience is genuinely narrower, but that is not the same as the offer being squeezed. A clutch’s price is set mainly by leather and condition, and under a bidding format, so long as someone in the trade wants it, the price reflects that. It is not undervalued for being a small model.View this case →

Where in Beijing can I sell an Hermès clutch?

Every Beijing boutique takes them, and clutches are handled the same way as handbags. Call 400-831-5667 to fix a time; the piece is checked in the boutique and quoted on the spot. Addresses are on the Beijing boutiques page.View this case →

Can I ship a clutch?

Send it freight-collect. The inspection result and the offer follow within one working day of arrival. A clutch is small and not easily crushed in transit. If it sells you are paid immediately; if not, it comes back as it was. Taking a few close-up photographs before you send it is worth doing.View this case →

What is a Chanel trifold wallet worth at buy-back?

Small leather goods and handbags do not share a pricing system; condition and colour lead, with size and line opening gaps of their own. This Grade B black trifold in Zhengzhou, August 2026, sold for CNY 2,800.View this case →

Does anyone buy small pieces like wallets?

Yes. Small leather goods from Chanel’s classic quilted line have steady secondary demand. The unit price is lower than a handbag’s but they do not move slowly; they go onto the platform in the same way and the price is set by trade bidding, usually over a short cycle.View this case →

Which boutique in Zhengzhou buys Chanel wallets?

The Sheshouduo boutique in Zhengzhou takes small leather goods too. Book and the piece is checked in person. The in-store process is the same as for handbags. Location is on the boutique directory page; the booking line is 400-831-5667.View this case →

Can I post a wallet in?

Send it freight-collect and the inspection result and offer follow the day after it arrives. Confirm the sale and you are paid immediately; if you walk away, nothing is charged and the wallet comes back as it was. A layer of soft cloth in the packaging is worth adding.View this case →

What is a Patek Philippe 7118/1200R-001 worth now?

CNY 1,262,000 — the price this one sold for in Nanjing in August 2026. Offers for diamond-set women’s references are not added up by the stone; condition, accessories and demand at the time settle them together.View this case →

Are the diamonds on a diamond-set 7118 priced separately at buy-back?

No. The diamonds count as part of the reference’s specification within the price of the whole watch. What the valuation watches is whether the setting is original and whether any stones are missing or have been replaced; a re-set piece loses value markedly.View this case →

On a women’s watch, how do I judge whether an offer has been pushed down?

Line up the basis first, then compare numbers. If the bezel specification, the condition grade or how complete the accessories are differ at all, two offers are not comparable. Once the basis matches, look at where sales of the same reference in the same period are landing. Diamond-set pieces need particular care here — sales of the plain version of the same reference cannot be read across. Offers are open to the client on the platform, with every buyer’s bid visible side by side.View this case →

Where can I sell a Patek Philippe in Nanjing?

In Nanjing you can book a boutique viewing, or choose a home visit or shipping. All three run the same authentication and bidding steps. The Nanjing boutiques are in Qinhuai, Jiangning and Jianye. If it is your first time, send the advisor photographs of the case and bezel, confirm the reference, then book a time.View this case →

What is a Patek Philippe 5968A-001 worth at buy-back?

This one sold in Hangzhou in August 2026 at CNY 950,000. The offer is not discounted from what you paid: the house, the model, the condition, how complete the accessories are and the market at the time are costed out together, and within one reference material and dial colour are read on top.View this case →

What is the difference between an Aquanaut 5968A and a 5968G, and which fetches more?

The difference is material — the 5968A is stainless steel, the 5968G is 18K white gold — with the same movement, case diameter and complication. Precious metal is counted separately as material value, but within the line secondary demand concentrates more on the steel case, so its buy-back price is often no lower. The two cannot be compared directly.View this case →

How do I stop an expensive watch being marked down at buy-back?

Insist on an offer you can compare side by side. The price is formed by trade buyers across the country bidding together and the offer sheet is open to the client; nothing is charged if no sale happens and the piece is returned as it was. The credentials behind the buy-back and authentication steps can be examined one by one on the credentials page.View this case →

How soon does the money arrive on a watch buy-back?

Payment goes out on the spot once you accept the offer and sign. There is no platform settlement cycle to wait through.View this case →

How is the buy-back price for a Patek Philippe 5968G-001 worked out?

This one sold in Shenzhen in August 2026 at CNY 930,000. The reference is a 42.2mm white gold chronograph; the offer moves with the state of the actual piece and how complete the accessories are, with the in-person check the basis.View this case →

What is the difference between a 5968G-001 and a 5968G-010?

The difference falls on dial and strap colour. The -001 has a blue gradient dial with a midnight blue strap; the -010 has a khaki green dial with a strap to match. Movement, case diameter and complication are identical. Different dial colours draw different preferences, so the two suffixes can move independently and cannot be compared as one reference.View this case →

On an expensive watch, what can I see on the offer sheet?

Once the checks are done and the piece is listed, each trade buyer posts their own offer line by line. The sheet is open to the client and every tier can be traced to where it came from. Which tier to close at was Mr Zhou’s to decide. If no sale happens nothing is charged and the watch is returned as it was. The credential documents behind both stages can be examined one by one on the credentials page.View this case →

When do I get the money on a watch buy-back?

It lands as soon as you sign, with no platform settlement stage in between. Over a public holiday the timing follows the banks; for an interbank transfer, when it actually arrives depends on how quickly the receiving bank processes it.View this case →

Roughly what is a Patek Philippe 7118/1R-001 worth at buy-back?

It sold in Guangzhou in August 2026 at CNY 820,000. The reference is the 35.2mm rose gold polished-bezel version, and condition and how complete the accessories are bear directly on the final offer.View this case →

What is the difference between a 7118/1R-001 and a 7118/1200R-001?

The bezel. The 7118/1R-001 has a polished bezel; the 7118/1200R-001 has 56 diamonds set into it. The reference codes differ by three digits, list prices differ by CNY 74,500, and buy-back offers are worked separately — they cannot be compared as one reference.View this case →

Do women’s watches lose more at buy-back than men’s?

It is not about gender but about the line and how much is in circulation. The women’s Nautilus references are made in low numbers with steady demand, and the discount is not necessarily greater than on the men’s. What actually moves the offer is condition, accessories and who is buying at the time — not who wears it.View this case →

How soon is a watch buy-back in Guangzhou paid out?

Payment goes out as soon as the offer is confirmed and the paperwork signed, with no platform payment term. Women’s watches share the same settlement process as every other category, with no extra review stage to wait through. The Guangzhou boutiques take bookings for in-person checks; call to confirm a time before you come.View this case →

What can a Patek Philippe 5712/1A-001 sell for now?

This one sold in Beijing in August 2026 at CNY 720,000. Buy-back prices for the reference move with condition and how complete the accessories are, and rest finally on the in-person check.View this case →

How is a discontinued watch valued — will it be marked down?

Discontinued does not mean cheap; the valuation is led by the state of the actual piece. A discontinued reference is priced on how many survive, its condition and demand at the time, not on the old list price. So long as the offer can be compared side by side, there is no room for one party to hold it down. Price differences between production batches of the same reference usually come from condition, accessories and whether parts have been replaced — normal variation between individual watches, not a change in how we value them.View this case →

Where can I sell a Patek Philippe in Beijing?

In Beijing you can submit a watch in the boutique, by home visit or by post, with the same quoting process for each, and book whichever is nearest. The Beijing boutiques are in Chaoyang, Haidian, Xicheng and other districts. Calling ahead to book is worth doing.View this case →

Is there a charge for watch buy-back? Is anything deducted if I do not sell?

Authentication is free for private sellers and nothing is charged whether or not a sale happens. A watch that does not sell is returned as it was.View this case →

What can a Patek Philippe 5980/1A-019 sell for?

This Shenzhen sale in August 2026 recorded CNY 690,000. It has been out of production for years, so the valuation rests mainly on condition, accessories and demand at the time, not on the pre-discontinuation list price.View this case →

Which of the three 5980 dials fetches the most at buy-back?

It follows demand at the time rather than a fixed ranking. The 5980 came in silver-white, black and deep blue, and the silver-white and deep blue draw different sets of buyers, so within the same period the order can swap around. Dial colour is one element in the offer, not the deciding one. If you are unsure whether a dial is original, an appraiser can confirm it during the check.View this case →

Is there still demand for a watch discontinued more than a decade ago?

Yes, and for some references demand is quite steady. Discontinuation means the float only falls, which makes pieces in good condition scarcer. What settles a sale is still the house, the reference, the condition and the accessories. When enquiring, ask directly about recent sales of the same reference — sale figures are more solid than asking prices.View this case →

How soon is a watch buy-back in Shenzhen paid out?

The check and the bidding usually finish the same day, and payment follows signing. The Shenzhen boutiques offer in-store checks, home visits and shipping. Book before coming in so an appraiser is on site.View this case →

What can a Patek Philippe 5164A-001 fetch at buy-back?

This Hangzhou sale in August 2026 came in at CNY 680,000. The reference is discontinued, so the pre-discontinuation list price is not used as a reference; what counts is how many survive, the state of the piece and buyer demand.View this case →

Does the dual-time complication on a 5164A-001 affect the buy-back price?

It does, but the effect comes from the demand side rather than the complication itself. Dual time is a practical function, accepted steadily among buyers who cross time zones often, and supply tightened after discontinuation — so enquiries for this reference on the secondary market run ahead of dress references at the same price point. That reading comes from demand; the complication does not carry a price premium of its own.View this case →

Which boutique in Hangzhou can I take a Patek Philippe to?

Boutiques in Hangzhou taking bookings for in-person checks are in Shangcheng, Xiaoshan, Gongshu, Binjiang and other districts, and home visits and shipping are accepted equally. Addresses are on the Hangzhou boutiques page. All three routes run the same authentication and bidding steps under the same quoting rules. Taking a free valuation before you come in gives you something to compare the in-person offer against.View this case →

How long does a watch buy-back take? Can I get the money the same day?

The same day, yes. The in-store check and the bidding usually finish within the day, and once you settle on an offer and sign the money can be paid. There is no need to come back repeatedly.View this case →

What is the buy-back price for a Patek Philippe 5170R?

CNY 310,000 was recorded in Shenzhen in August 2026. The reference is a 39.4mm rose gold hand-wound chronograph; dress and sports references have different secondary price structures, so it has to be assessed on its own alongside the condition.View this case →

What is the difference between a 5170R-001 and a 5170R-010?

Only the dial colour. The -001 has a silver-white opaline dial and the -010 a jet-black opaline; movement, case diameter and list price are identical. Because dial colour shifts buyer preference, the buy-back offers for the two suffixes can differ slightly.View this case →

Do hand-wound watches fetch less at buy-back?

Pricing does not follow the winding method; it follows where the line sits and who is buying. Patek Philippe’s in-house hand-wound chronograph movements are well regarded among collector buyers, and offers are not necessarily below those for an automatic at the same price point. What decides it is still condition, accessories and demand at the time.View this case →

Are there boutiques in Shenzhen that buy Patek Philippe?

Three boutiques — in Nanshan, Luohu and Futian — take bookings for in-person visits; addresses are on the Shenzhen boutiques page. Home visits and shipping are accepted equally, and all three run the same authentication and bidding process. If you ship, photograph the case and dial in detail before sending so the condition can be checked against them on arrival.View this case →

What price range does a Patek Philippe 5396G fetch at buy-back?

The recorded sale in Shenzhen in August 2026 was CNY 150,000. An annual calendar is a complication and usually gives up more than a sports reference; the offer is worked out on its own alongside condition and accessories.View this case →

What is the difference between a 5396G-001 and a 5396G-011?

They are two generations. The -001 is the generation first launched in 2006, with a white gold version in 2008 and production ending around 2010; its dial is the silver-grey sector layout, and it has no current list price. The -011 is the later second generation, with a silver-white dial, a 38.5mm case and a list price of CNY 510,000. The two cannot be compared as one reference.View this case →

How much do the original box and warranty card affect a watch’s buy-back price?

They matter. A watch with its original box, booklet and warranty card is easier to price in pre-owned circulation and usually quotes above a comparable bare watch. The difference is fixed on the day against the reference and the condition, not as a set proportion. Some of the trade counts only the warranty card as accessories — with it, a watch is at least a half set; without it, it generally goes down as watch only.View this case →

How long does the buy-back process take in Shenzhen?

The in-store check and the bidding usually finish the same day, and from submitting photographs to receiving an offer normally takes no more than one working day. The Shenzhen boutiques take bookings for visits. Shipping adds one logistics step, so the timing follows the courier.View this case →

What can a Patek Philippe 5153J-001 fetch at buy-back?

The one sold in Shenzhen in August 2026 came in at CNY 140,000. The reference is a 38mm yellow gold officer’s case, discontinued, and the offer rests on the state of the actual piece and its accessories.View this case →

Is a gold-cased watch priced against the gold price at buy-back?

No. A watch is valued as a whole; gold is only one element in the pricing and is not converted by multiplying weight against the gold price. The price also depends on the house, the reference, the movement, the condition and the accessories, and the weight of the material itself accounts for a limited share of the total. If the case has been polished or refinished, the material part of the valuation is adjusted again.View this case →

Can Patek Philippe be collected from my home in Shenzhen?

Yes. Home visits and shipping are both accepted, and in-store checks are equally open, with the same quoting process across all three. Home visits are for high-value pieces and need a time arranged with an appraiser in advance. Addresses for the Shenzhen boutiques are on the site. Sending photographs online before you come in lets an advisor confirm the model and what to bring.View this case →

Do I need to book a watch buy-back, and what should I bring?

Booking ahead is worth doing so an appraiser can be scheduled. Bring the watch itself; if you have the original box, warranty card and booklet, bring those too — how complete the accessories are affects the offer.View this case →

What price does a Patek Philippe 5127J-001 fetch at buy-back now?

This Shanghai sale in August 2026 came in at CNY 121,500. The reference is a 37mm yellow gold three-hand dress watch, discontinued, and the offer rests mainly on the state of the piece and whether the accessories are complete.View this case →

The 5127J and the 5153J are both yellow gold Calatravas — why do they quote differently?

Case diameter, launch year and dial craft all differ, so the valuation baselines were never the same. The 5127J-001 is a 37mm three-hander; the 5153J-001 belongs to the officer’s-case branch with hand engraving at the centre. Each has its own sale record on this site. Being in the same line does not make them the same reference — check the reference code before comparing.View this case →

On a dress reference, how do I judge whether the offer has been pushed down?

Look at comparable sales of the same reference in the same period, not at a single figure. Line up three things first: the reference code, the condition description and how complete the accessories are. If one does not match, the offers are not comparable. Sale records for dress references are thin to begin with, so confirming it is the same code matters all the more. Every buyer’s bid is shown side by side on the platform, and what you see is the complete offer sheet.View this case →

How do I book a Patek Philippe buy-back in Shanghai?

Send photographs online first; once an advisor has verified the model, a boutique time is arranged. If coming in is inconvenient, a home visit or shipping both work. The Shanghai boutiques are in Huangpu, Jing’an, Pudong, Xuhui and other districts. Call before setting out to confirm an appraiser is on site.View this case →

How is the market for a Rolex 14060M at buy-back?

CNY 49,000 in Shenzhen, August 2026. This is the no-date Submariner, discontinued, and the offer turns on the production batch and the state of the bezel and case. Its price structure is not the same one as the current Submariner’s.View this case →

What is the difference between a 14060M and a 114060?

Bezel material and movement. The 14060M uses an aluminium bezel insert; the 114060 moved to ceramic, and the movement stepped up from the 3130 to the 3131 with anti-magnetic components. The two generations circulate side by side on the secondary market, and valuing the older one leans more on originality — whether the bezel insert has been polished or refinished makes a visible difference to the offer.View this case →

How do I avoid being marked down on an older Rolex?

Get the reasoning clear first, then compare numbers. Older watches have more valuation elements than new ones — the state of the bezel, whether the case has been polished, and whether the service records are complete all enter the offer, so ask for the reasoning item by item. Offers are shown side by side on the platform with every bid visible at once, so you need not take one buyer’s word for it.View this case →

Where in Shenzhen can I sell a Rolex?

In Shenzhen you can book an in-store check, or choose a home visit or shipping — the steps are the same for all three. The Shenzhen boutiques are in Nanshan, Luohu and Futian. Checking an older watch takes a little longer because the bezel and movement condition have to be verified, so mention the reference when you book.View this case →
